The MacDill Inn, located at 7637 Bayshore Blvd., Bldg. 350, offers a full range of temporary lodging facilities. However, MacDill is also a very busy AMC installation, supporting all branches of DoD. Therefore, members planning to travel and/or relocate to MacDill are advised to make lodging reservations as soon as possible. Travelers on official orders to MacDill AFB must use DTS to book lodging accommodations. If planning a move during the peak PCS months (May through September), at least 60 days' advance notice is recommended. Reservations can be made in advance by emailing email@example.com or calling the MacDill Inn Reservations Office, DSN 312-968-4259 or 813-828-4259. Reservations are taken 24 hours a day.
Incoming members to MacDill AFB will be given reservations, depending upon availability, for up to 30 nights; extended stays are new reservations and can be approved only as space available. Space A reservations may be made for retirees and members, not on orders, 24 hours in advance of the arrival day and for 3 days at a time.
The MacDill Inn has 398 bed spaces including DV suites, VQ, and TLFs. The Inn's rooms have queen-sized beds, cable TV with VCR, telephones with message and wake-up service, microwaves, refrigerators, courtesy coffee makers, personal care amenities, as well as information booklets on MacDill AFB and the Tampa Bay area. All quarters are nonsmoking.

Group Reservations & Credit Card Authorization
NOTE: Authorizing use of your credit card, means the credit card holder agrees to pay for all charges incurred to the room(s). If multiple rooms are reserved on a credit card and each room is to be paid for individually, please notify the guests their credit cards must be provided upon check in. To avoid being charged 'No Show' fees, please cancel reservations no less than 24 hrs in advance of date reserved. If 24-hour advance cancellations are not made, a charge of one nights stay for each room will be charged.

Lodging Arrival Information
New arrivals, PCSing with family members, may stay at the TLF (Temporary Lodging Facility)
for up to 30 days, while searching or waiting for housing. If additional days are required, reservation will be
made based on availability. Unaccompanied members may stay in the VQ (Visiting Quarters) while making permanent
housing arrangements or the assigned unit can provide a dorm room. Personnel
traveling to MacDill AFB on TDY status must book through DTS.
Civilian Lodging On Base
Only civilian personnel, coming from overseas, can choose to stay at billeting: the MacDill Inn. Reservations should be made at least 30-90 days in advance. Civilians will not receive a non-availability statement if lodging isn't available when requested.
Non-availability of Temporary Lodging
If no temporary lodging facilities are available on base, the Reservations Office will assist you in locating local hotels/motels that may offer special military rates.
For information about on & off-base housing, contact the Housing Flight staff (813) 828-3166 or (813) 828-5404. The MacDill Housing Flight is located at 7317 Bayshore Blvd. If you are looking for on-base housing, submit an adance application IDD Form 1746) through your housing office before you leave your current assignment. Applications are considered on the date they are received.
If you have questions about or need assistance with your pay, the Comptroller's office is located in Bldg 149, 2606 Brown Pelican Ave. (813) 828-5377 / DSN 968-5377. Personnel traveling on orders can make advance reservations. Personnel traveling without orders may use lodging on a Space A (space available) basis. Space A reservations are accepted 24 hours in advance, as long as space is available.
