  • The Marina is a one-stop-shop for all your marina needs! Included for sale in the retail store are live and frozen bait, fishing tackle, fuel, propane, beach & RV supplies, ice and many more fishing items!
  • A wide variety of items are available for rent, including boats with motors (see link at bottom of page regarding the required boating course), canoes, kayaks, paddle boats and water safety equipment.

Florida Fishing Licenses

Note: Shoreline License Fee REPEALED!
Effective July 1, 2010:
Although a license to saltwater fish from shore is still required, there is now NO FEE to obtain the license!
(available only to FL residents)

Resident anglers who fish for saltwater species from shore, or from a structure affixed to shore, must have a shoreline fishing license (no fee) or a $17 regular saltwater license. Non-resident anglers need a regular nonresident saltwater fishing license to fish from shore or from a vessel.
Short-term and annual nonresident fishing licenses cost between $17 and $47.

Be sure to bring printout of your Boat U.S. Foundation course certificate and ID card (must be at least 18 to rent boats) at time of rental; a MacDill Marina Boaters Safety Card will be issued to you.*

*NOTE: The Marina's Boater Safety Card is good for 2 years. If nearing the expiration date of card, please stop in and a new card will be issued to you.
