Walk-Ins:

Here at the 6 FSS DEERS & ID Card section, we proudly accommodate walk-in customers, daily, from 7:30 am-3:30 pm. This feature allows us to see customers throughout the day, with a minimal wait time (40 mins or less). This, in turn, alleviates having to wait months for an appointment slot to open, which cuts down on long lines at 7:30 am for any of our services.

NOTE: New appointments for the following month, will open no later than the 3rd Friday of the month. If there are zero online appointments available, please try our walk-in feature (see above), as this process may accommodate your request in a shorter timeframe.

INSTRUCTIONS: On the calendar, click on the available day (in green) you want to make your appointment, then select an available time. Enter information in all fields under "Your Information," then click "Submit". If all dates for the current month are in gray, this indicates there are no more available appointments. We open appointments for the following month, on or about the 18th of each month.

CAC Pin Resets

Besides this service being available at 6 FSS Customer Service, you can now get your CAC PIN reset at:
6th Contracting Squadron, 6th Medical Group
or the Brandon Clinic.
CENTCOM J6 can also reset pins for those assigned
to their command.

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR

LOST, STOLEN OR

CONFISCATED CAC CARDS:

The following is to clarify the process for replacing lost, stolen, or confiscated CACs. The below guidance outlines the acceptable documentation needed to validate the need for a replacement card.

Acceptable documents include:
  • A police report
  • A report from an installation security office
  • A statement/document(s) as provided by the Service/agency (e.g., counseling document)
  • A letter or memo from the member's security manager, Commander, First Sergeant, or the sponsoring TASS Trusted Agent. The letter or memo must be prepared on the activity's letterhead, dated, and signed with a wet signature or digitally signed using a CAC.

Please Note: The DD Form 1172-2 is not authorized to be used as an alternative to document the loss of CAC and need for re-issuance.

      • Civilian CAC - Update 30 days prior to expiration date. Two valid forms of identification.
      • Contractor’s CAC - Update information in the CVS with new expiration date. Two valid forms of identification
